Where Are My Referral Miles?
Last updated December 3, 2025
If you referred a friend to Rove but don’t see your referral miles yet, don’t worry. Your reward will post once your friend meets the qualification threshold. Here’s how it works and when to expect your bonus.
How Referral Miles Work
You earn referral miles when:
- Your friend signs up using your unique referral link, and
- Your friend earns at least 250 Rove Miles through qualifying activity on Rove.
Your friend can meet the 250-mile threshold through:
- Shopping with the Rove browser extension
- Booking a flight on Rove
- Booking a hotel through Rove
- Or any combination of the above
The reward is based on earned miles, not completed trips.
When Referral Miles Post
Referral miles typically post:
- Within 24–72 hours after your friend reaches 250 earned miles,
- Once their activity has been confirmed as eligible
If your friend never reaches 250 earned miles, the referral bonus will not be triggered.
Where to See Your Referral Miles
To check whether your referral miles have been added:
- Log in to rovemiles.com
- Tap your profile icon
- Select Activity
- Look for the line item titled Referral
Once posted, the bonus automatically appears in your Activity feed.
Common Reasons Referral Miles Haven’t Posted
If your referral miles haven’t shown up yet, one of these might be the reason:
1. Your Friend Hasn’t Earned 250 Rove Miles Yet
This is the most common reason.
2. Your Friend Didn’t Use Your Unique Referral Link
The referral must be tracked through your link at account creation.
3. Your Friend’s Transactions Haven’t Posted Yet
Shopping miles, for example, may take 30–100 days to post depending on the merchant.
4. The Activity Was Not Eligible
Canceled/refunded purchases or bookings do not count toward the 250-mile requirement.
